About Us

Abundant Life Wharton is in the midst of a revitalization. Over the past several years not only has there remodeling of the building there has been a revival with our hearts. God has been at work and we have seen Him accomplish some amazing things. We know this is only the beginning. 

We believe God has created each and every person unique. As we begin our journey with Him we find forgiveness, love, and purpose. God's word tells us that the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy but Jesus came that we may have life and have that life more abundantly (more fulfilled, to the full, till it overflows). 

Once we make the decision to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior is when we really begin to LIVE. After this decision we begin to GROW in our relationship with the Lord through discipleship, prayer, reading His Word, and fellowship with other believer. As we begin to Grow the Creator reveals who He has created us to be and we find true fulfillment as we SERVE others in those areas.

We are a group of people gathered together by God living this out. The church is not an organization but a living organism comprised of a diverse group of people of different ages, different backgrounds, and different talents working together to make the Gospel of Christ Jesus known to the world.
